a little brake from the blog, until I can find some other authors

to contribute to the blog with me. 

It's really hard to handle with only one person posting every, single,

I also have a large amount of school work and need to

Aloe Vera & Wristwatch

Hey Guys! 

Today they have a new Item in Treetop Gardens. 

It is an Aloe Vera Plant! It comes in 8 different colors

I sure don't know what I would do without that plant! lol

Diamond Anklet & Slushy2151's Spring Den Showcase

Hey Jammers!

I apologize for the late post tonight... Had quite the busy day...

But I did get 2 videos completed & edited so that's good :)

Anyways, today they have a new item in Epic Wonders. It is
a Diamond Anklet. It comes in 8 different colors and costs
1,000 gems.

I'd say that's quite expensive, but if you really think about it...

they're diamonds so.... I've never heard of cheap diamonds. :P

And today is the last day for the Fedora. I'm pretty sure

this is like the 2nd or 3rd time the Fedora's have went out of stores

and came back. Interesting.. Fedora's are probably one

of my favorite items in AJ, they go together with so many looks!

I am going to go buy every color... (Hmmm... no wonder

my inventory is so full! XD) 

 Today is Saturday which means another Den Showcase!

Today I'm showcasing Slushy2151's Den.

Here is the entrance area of the den.

It's very well decorated, with all the clover patches and fences.

I especially love the contrast of colors she used. The pink and the

green look fabulous together! 

Moving on to the other half of the entrance area. 

I again love the colors she choose. I also like how she stuck

to one theme, instead of going all over the place with 

colors. Makes the den look very nice. 

If you walk in the den, you quickly approach these adorable

seating areas! The Fox Tail Chairs and the Clover Areas

are a great addition the den. You can never have enough sitting

areas, ey? I also really like how she used all the plants to 

add detail to her den. That's something that is really important

for den decorating- lots of detail!

Finally, here is a close up of the clover area. 

The nature-y feel of this den is really comforting

and well put together. I love the way she even encorporated

a Jamaaliday Lamp in her den, eventhough it's not Jamaaliday-themed

den.

Overall, by this den, Slushy is a very wonderful den decorator, 

All the effort she put into this den is very fascinating. I would love

to hang-out in her den!

Galoshes & Dolphin Fun Facts!

What's Up Jammers?

Today they have a brand new item in Jam Mart Clothing,

and they are... GALOSHES! Or Rain Boots.. whatever you'd

like to call them! XD They come in 8 colors, and cost

650 gems. 

Today is the last day of the Grand Piano...

I am going to by about 5 of these before they go out of

stores! They look so "elegant" in a lot of dens. I LOVE IT!

Today is Fun Fact Friday, so today I decided to do some fun

facts about dolphins! 

Did you know a dolphin's group is called a pod? Dolphins sure are

very sociable sea creatures. They enjoy having each other's

company. Dolphins use a bunch of clicks and sounds to

communicate with their fellow dolphin friends. Pretty cool,

I would love to have my own dedicated language I can 

communicate with my "pack". :)

The skin of a dolphin is very delicate, and can easily

be damaged if they come in contact in any harsher surfaces.

A mature dolphin can eat up to 30 pounds of fish daily!

That's quite a lot of fish!

Kitty Plushie & New Shark News Crew Article!

Hey Guys!

Today they have a returning item. which is a Kitty Plushie!

I absolutely adore this kitty plushie, I'm so glad they brought

it back! 

Today is also the last day to buy the Star Lamp!

I'm guessing AJ is getting rid of all the space items to make room

for a new den theme! o.o

I did submit an article for this topic. I didn't win obviously, but I still really wanted

to share it with you guys! I will paste it below. :)

Sharks are very intense, unique creatures. They are at the top of the food chain. With multiple rows of teeth, Sharks are able to easily chow down fish in seconds and even able to eat other sharks. Most sharks eat things like fish, crustaceans, mollusks, plankton, krill, and marine animals. Sharks also have an amazing sense of smell. Their smell allows them to detect blood in water from miles away. I sure wish I could detect food from miles away! 

A shark’s skin is made up of many scales that are used as an outer skeleton. Their outer skeleton helps sharks have easy movement and for saving energy in the water. They breathe through a series of 5 to 7 gill slits that are located on either side of their bodies. Their upper side is usually darker and the lower side is usually lighter to make it easier for them to blend in with the ocean. That’s called camouflage. Camouflage helps the animal disguise itself from predators or prey. 

Sharks have adapted to live in many aquatic environments in various temperatures. Some species like to occupy shallow waters in coastal regions, and others live in deep water like the ocean floor. Sharks can range from 8 inches to 50 feet. They generally live for 20 to 30 years but some can live as long as 100 years! 

Sharks are incredible animals with many unique features that help them survive in the wild. After writing this, I realized how important sharks are to our ocean. Without sharks, the ocean would be a disaster, overflowing with countless amount of sea creatures that may not be healthy for the ocean. Three Cheers for Sharks!!

Walk-In Closet & WolffeyCat's Fashionable Lion

What's Up Jammers?

Today they have a brand new item, It is a Walk-In Closet!

It costs 950 gems and it available in Epic Wonders.

I am honestly, not a huge fan of the outside of the

closet, but the inside is pretty sweet. <3 p="">

Today is the last day for the Moon Lamp.

Today is Wednesday, so I'm going to be featuring an OOTD (Outfit of

The Day)

Today I'm featuring wolffeycat.

To be honest, the main reason I love this look, is because she isn't

trying to show off her fancy spiked colors or betas. It shows you

can still make awesome looks even if you don't have the "fanciest" items.

Wolffeycat started her look off with choosing a theme, which (telling

from the picture) is orange, grey, and white. 

Next, she used "tan" colored deer antlers as her head piece and paired

it with a white flag from Jam Mart Clothing. Then, she added

white leaf bracelets to add a nice "tribal" look to the feet. Finally,

she added the orange tribal print to the face and body.

And boom, the complete King Of The Jungle look!

I also loved the contrast of colors that she used, with the orange, and then

the cyan colored eyes. Obviously, by this look, Wolffeycat

has a great fashion sense!

I quite like the look of this item.. not so much

of a fan of the colors though.

started spreading around Jamaa. It looks like you are going to be

Opal Necklace & PolarBearPawz Den Showcase!

What's up guys!

Today's new item is the Opal Necklace! It is sold

in Epic Wonders in 8 different colors. It costs 800 gems.

I don't know about you, but I am 

really happy that Animal Jam brought out a new type

of necklace. I'm always waiting for new ones to come out 

so they can go with my looks! :)

And for some reason.. Animal Jam keeps getting rid

of old items in the shop. All these items from the past

2 days are from when I started Animal Jam back in

2012. Hmm... who knows? Maybe they have some

better items to come out? 

As that said, Today's the last day for the

Flat Couch. :(

Today we are going to be doing a den showcase!

Username: PolarBearPawz

This is her first area. She is using the tree house den. 

Her den is so nicely decorated- not too much, not too

little. On her first floor, she has a lovely seating area

for her and her friends to gather around the campfire.

She also adds a bunny statue in the back for the outdoor

effect. Great area for hanging out with her

buddies!

Her next room is her living room type area. She uses

the couches and tables from Epic Wonders and adds

multiple flower pots and plants surrounding her

den which makes it look formal. She also adds

a pool table in the back as well. Fun for playing some games!

The last floor of her den is a nice seating area. She uses

log chairs & table and pairs it with a fireplace

to keep warm in the winter. The way she utilizes

all of these items in the den makes it really fun to be in.

That's something to think about when you're decorating your den.

Silk Scarf & Polar Bear Facts!

Hey Jammers! Today's new Item is a Silk Scarf!

This scarf reminds me of the ribbon scarf... Both come in many

colors, which is very helpful so you can match it to many

looks! I am totally going to get this item!

And sadly, Today is the last day for the

Wood Lawn Chair. This was also one of my very first Animal Jam Items as

well as the bookshelf! You better stock 

up on your lawn chairs! They will make a great

 addition to your den! 

Today is Fun Fact Friday! Since my name is PolarPaws, I decided to do 

Polar Bear Fun Facts!

Did you know that Polar Bears are endangered? One of the main reason for Polar Bears becoming endangered it because of Man-Maid Pollution. 

Pretty Sad, right? Polar Bears' fur is very oily, which allows them to shake

off water. It is their "water repellent". Polar Bear's Paw Pads are used to

help them from not slipping on the ice. That is extremely helpful... I couldn't

imagine standing on ice and expecting not to slip! XD

My last fun fact for today is that Polar Bear's skin is actually black!

They just appear to be white because of their fur coat. 

That wraps it up for today! I won't be making too many videos

this week because I have family in town. I will probably end up

posting 1-3 videos a week when school starts (which is

next week)

Introducing Animal Jam Fairies (HoneyBees)

Hey Jammers! Today there are also new updates! I am pretty excited

about them!

It is National HoneyBee Day! Make sure you get on Animal Jam

and get your honeybee! And even better... They are for non-members 

as well! I like to look at honeybees as fairies... I mean seriously! Little,

fluffy, sparkly things that follow you around?! Yes, I am aware, 

fairies in Fairy Tales aren't animals, but I like to look at them as fairies in
Animal Jam form. XD

They have exclusive bee items in Jam Mart Furniture & Clothing. Make sure

you get yours before they go out of stores!

Snow Leopards are returning! Hopefully, in the next update

we'll have these adorable fluffy leopards joining back in the

Diamond Shop. Their new "Cool Buddies" animation has to be one

of my favorite Animations. Definitely one to watch! You can view

Thursday, Summer is sure coming to a close. :(

look on one of their animals. I know I am always struggling

to find a good look on my animals and I need some inspiration!

New Princess Vanity, and Returning Overflow!

Hello Everyone! 

Today we have apparently 2 new items. The first item is a Princess Vanity.

It is available in Epic Wonders in only 5 different colors. They cost 850 gems each. 

I guess Animal Jam is starting to bring back some of the Arcade Games for

your den?

I never even knew this left, but apparently it did. So, the other

new item is the Overflow game. It is 400 gems and is available in

the Sol Arcade.

Animal Jammer Insiders is BACK!

Hey Guys! Yes, I am BACK! I started this blog up back in 2014, and got tired of doing it so I quit... I have decided to come back and start posting! I got inspired to come back after looking at tons of other peoples blogs. :)

Anyways, I have re-vamped this blog up a little more (with the tabs on the side). If you click on the tabs on the side it will take you to different pages I have made. Most of the pages I have written myself, but some were from other blogs such as Animal Jam Graphic Central and Animal Jam Spirit. I am not completely done yet, I still have some more re-modeling to do, but I just wanted to announce I'm back!

I have created a tutorial how to get the tabs on the side earlier today, so it should be up within the next couple of days. I will let you know when it's up for you bloggers.

I have also created a new YouTube channel called PolarPawsAJ. I post quite often on there. To get there, click on the "PolarPaw's YouTube Channel" Tab or the "Videos" Tab. Either or you will see my videos. :)
